The Photography Enthusiast

At a signing event recently, a gentlemen was flicking through the book. He was shaking his head with disapproval and disdain.

When he had finished his silent and withering critique he said "I'll tell you what's a real photograph, you can see wales from here on a clear day" he gestured across the expanse of the Irish sea over our shoulders. Then he produced his mobile phone and said authoritatively  "here have a look at this" 

On the screen of his mobile phone was an inscrutable mush of pixels with a tiny dark cluster of pixels in the centre.

"See that there" he continued pointing to the mush,"That's Wales! Brilliant isn't it, heh, brilliant isn't it, isn't it"

"Yes it's great" I replied.
